General Provisions
- Scope of Services: Black Legacy Society provides workshops, coaching programs, events, and memberships tailored to personal and professional development. Specific details of each service will be outlined in a mutually agreed-upon proposal or agreement.
- Eligibility: Services are available to individuals, organizations, and institutions committed to professional growth, leadership, and cultural enrichment. Participants must adhere to all program guidelines and policies.
Payment Terms
- Invoices: All invoices must be paid according to the terms specified within them. A deposit or retainer may be required to secure services.
- Retainer Fees: For training and development workshops, 50% of the total cost is due upon booking to retain our services for the agreed-upon date. This retainer is non-refundable and will be applied toward the final balance.
- Payment Methods: Payments can be made via cash, credit card, or check. Late payments may incur additional fees.
Cancellations and Refunds
- Client-Initiated Cancellations: Cancellations must be submitted in writing at least 30 days before the scheduled service date. Retainer fees are non-refundable, but any additional payments made may be partially refunded based on the amount of preparation completed.
- Black Legacy Society-Initiated Cancellations: In the unlikely event we must cancel a service, a full refund of any payments received will be issued, or we will work with you to reschedule.
- Force Majeure: Neither party will be held liable for delays or cancellations due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, or health emergencies.
Confidentiality and Intellectual Property
- Confidentiality: Any information shared during coaching sessions, workshops, or consulting engagements will be treated with strict confidentiality, unless otherwise agreed upon.
- Intellectual Property: All content, materials, and resources provided during our services are the intellectual property of Black Legacy Society and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without express written permission.
Code of Conduct
- Professional Behavior: All participants are expected to engage respectfully and professionally. Black Legacy Society reserves the right to remove any participant who violates program policies or disrupts the experience of others.
- Non-Discrimination Policy: Black Legacy Society is committed to providing an inclusive and equitable environment for all participants.
Liability and Disclaimers
- Limitation of Liability: Black Legacy Society is not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.
